Clinical Supervision

Reflective, relational and inclusive supervision to support your clinical practice and professional

Service Description

I offer clinical supervision for trainee and qualified counsellors and therapists, providing a collaborative, supportive and non-judgemental space to explore clinical work, develop professional confidence and deepen reflective practice. As a trainee clinical supervisor undertaking the Diploma in Clinical Supervision with Headstrong Academy, my developing supervisory approach is integrative, relational, trauma-informed and grounded in ethical and anti-oppressive principles. Drawing on the Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision, alongside person-centred, psychodynamic and cognitive behavioural perspectives, sessions provide opportunities to explore: Clinical practice and case reflection: Exploring client presentations, therapeutic interventions and the complexities of clinical work. The therapeutic relationship: Reflecting on relational dynamics, emotional responses and the processes that emerge between therapist and client. Ethical practice and safeguarding: Considering professional boundaries, confidentiality, risk, safeguarding and ethical decision-making. Reflective self-awareness: Exploring how personal experiences, assumptions and emotional responses may influence therapeutic practice. Inclusive and anti-oppressive practice: Reflecting on identity, power, culture, intersectionality and the wider social contexts affecting clients and practitioners. Professional growth and wellbeing: Developing confidence, clinical competence, resilience and a sustainable approach to therapeutic work. My aim is to offer supervision that balances support with thoughtful challenge, encouraging curiosity, reflection and professional accountability while keeping client wellbeing at the centre of our work. Supervision is tailored to your developmental stage, professional context and individual learning needs. Please note: I am currently undertaking specialist training in clinical supervision with Headstrong Academy. Suitability for supervision, including whether sessions can count towards professional or training requirements, will be discussed before commencing.
