ABOUT NAOMI BROWN
I am Naomi Brown, an accredited integrative counsellor and registered member of the BACP, offering support to individuals experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, life transitions, and perinatal mental health challenges.
I have experience working across mental health, education, social care, specialist perinatal support, community services, and private practice.
I support clients with a range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, and perinatal mental health concerns.
My counselling approach is warm, reflective, and collaborative. I believe that therapy works best when you feel safe enough to explore your experiences honestly, at a pace that feels manageable for you.
As an integrative counsellor, I draw on different therapeutic approaches, including Person-Centred Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Solution-Focused work.
This allows me to adapt therapy to your needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
I aim to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and understood, while also working towards greater self-awareness, emotional stability, and meaningful change.

First Session / Initial Consultation
Before beginning therapy, I offer a free initial consultation of up to 30 minutes. This gives us an opportunity to briefly explore what has brought you to counselling, what you are hoping for, and whether we feel like a good fit to work together.
During this call, I may ask some gentle questions about your current situation and what support you are looking for. You are welcome to ask me questions too.
There is no obligation to continue after this consultation. It is simply a chance for us to find the right rhythm and decide whether ongoing sessions feel appropriate.
If you choose to continue, our first full session will allow us to explore your experiences in more depth and begin shaping the focus of our work together.
